Yoga for the back Style: Yoga for the back

Yoga for the back strengthens and stretches all muscles that are responsible for a healthy, vital spine in a way that minimizes stress and compression to the spine. The exercises are done in a slow, steady rhythm so that one develops a heightened awareness of all the sensations within the body. This allows one to experience the deeply relaxing benefits of yoga. Due to the gentle and focused nature of this course, it is also beneficial for those who are currently not involved in any active exercise program but wish to start. Ivane Durand-Michel Teacher: Ivane Durand-Michel

Born in La Reunion, Ivane grew up with the influence of Indian masters, and yoga has always been part of her life. Very interested in spirituality and the harmony between body and mind, she was certified as a yoga teacher at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram near Orleans and received her diploma of « Yoga Siromani » in August 2010. Walferdange Location: Walferdange

This warm and cozy setting provides an intimate and wonderful atmosphere for the practice of yoga. Easy to get to, with a bus stop 100 meters away and parking in the Mairie and the cemetery. Go to the Walferdange page.

What to bring:

There is a changing room at this location. Wear comfortable clothing to stretch in. There are yoga mats and cushions here, but feel free to bring your own. Info for your first yoga class.
