Style: Yoga for the back
Yoga for the back strengthens and stretches all muscles that are responsible for a healthy, vital spine in a way that minimizes stress and compression to the spine. The exercises are done in a slow, steady rhythm so that one develops a heightened awareness of all the sensations within the body. This allows one to experience the deeply relaxing benefits of yoga. Due to the gentle and focused nature of this course, it is also beneficial for those who are currently not involved in any active exercise program but wish to start. Go to the Yoga for the back page.
Teacher: Eva Fischer
Eva has practiced various forms of yoga for 15 years, but when she was introduced to Sivananda's teachings in 2006, it provided her with the enthusiasm and discipline to turn her yoga practice into an important part of her daily life and and to live her passion, yoga! After a formal Sivananda teacher training course in Budapest, she received her diploma in 2009. Go to Eva's page.
Location: Walferdange
This warm and cozy setting provides an intimate and wonderful atmosphere for the practice of yoga. Easy to get to, with a bus stop 100 meters away and parking in the Mairie and the cemetery. Go to the Walferdange page.
What to bring:
There is a changing room at this location. Wear comfortable clothing to stretch in. There are yoga mats and cushions here, but feel free to bring your own. Info for your first yoga class.
