Replacement yoga class
Thursday 21 march 2013 at 10:30
If you are a term student and have credits from canceled classes during this term, you may use a credit to attend this additional Sivananda yoga replacement class from 10h30-12h00.
Unlike our normal classes where you are always welcome to use your credits with the online system, this is a specially-arranged weekend replacement class that has a different reservation system. You may only attend one such class a term.
Due to the limited space of the room and the number of students eligible for this specially-arranged class, if you register, one credit will be subtracted from your account and will not be re-instated if you need to cancel.

Style: Sivananda Yoga
Sivananda yoga is for the student seeking inner tranquility and centeredness. In a Sivananda class, we start with conscious breathing exercises to tune inward then the sun salutation, a cardio-vascular exercise, to warm up. This is followed by 12 core postures to channel and concentrate vital energy. A guided relaxation is done at the end and brings about the overall sense of harmony and well-being one feels after class. Regardless of whether a student comes into class tired or stressed, the balanced nature of the Sivananda sequence renders the student calm and lucid. Go to the Sivananda yoga page.
