Malou Schleimer: teaching professionally since 2006

After having obtained my "Prix Supérieur" in classic and modern dance at the Luxembourg Conservatory, I did my higher studies in Paris where I obtained my teaching diploma in dance. Upon my return, from 1996 to 1999, I held the position of "chargée de cours" in dance at the Luxembourg Conservatory.

In 2002, I started practicing yoga under the guidance of Denise Pesch and Fredric Bender; in addition, I studied with various master-teachers from the Sivananda tradition such as Swami Atma and Swami Saradananda and from the Ashtanga vinyasa tradition with Manju Jois. My passion to further deepen the yogic approach to unify body and mind motivated me to earn my yoga teacher diploma in 2006 through Haus Yoga Vidya. Since that time, I have been teaching continously at three Luxembourgish communes, and all my courses combine teaching with creativity. I continue to regularly participate in yoga trainings: Asana Intensives and yoga for the hard-of-seeing and the blind.

Claudia Schlegel: teaching professionally since 2002

English: I started practicing yoga in 1998 while studying physiotherapy and learned how integrating yoga classes with physiotherapy affected the body much better than physiotherapy alone. I deepened my knowledge with the study of Kalari Therapy, a therapeutic system of Ayurveda, rooted in the ancient Indian Scriptures of the Vedas. I received my physiotherapy license in Rostock in 2001. I received my yoga teaching certification in 2002, my Ayurvedic health consulting certification in 2003 and my meditation teaching certification in 2005 from Haus Yoga Vidya. I received my Heilpraktiker certification in Stralsund in 2008.

Eva Fischer: teaching professionally since 2009

For almost 15 years, yoga has been a part of my life in one way or another trying several different methods. I got in touch with Sivananda`s teachings first in 2006, which provided me with the enthusiasm and discipline to turn the yoga practice into an important part of my daily life and routine. Its Hatha yoga method has helped me to bring an increased consciousness into my asana and pranayama practice, as well as to develop my mind control and positive attitude.

These experiences inspired me to deepen my knowledge of this science and to pass this tool on to other people. After a formal Sivananda teacher training course in Budapest I received my diploma in 2009.

Working for ten years at the Hungarian Central Bank and the European Central Bank as an economist, I moved to Luxembourg in 2009. I am taking advantage of this to fully live my passion, yoga!

Nathalie Visser: massaging professionally since 1997

Born in Sweden, I come from an athletic background. I was Swedish Champion in road cycling (2002) and received the bronze medal at the US National Beach Volleyball Championships (2000). I have been working with massage since 1997 and got my certification at Axelsons in Gothenburg, Sweden.

I studied Marine Biology and Human Anatomy in Santa Cruz, California, and have had the opportunity to work with many skilled massage therapist around the world.

I have developed an individualised treatment that has evolved over the years, working with a broad variety of body types from secretaries to Olympic Gold Medalists.

In the 2004 Athens Olympics, I had 7 of “my” athletes competing for 3 different nations, with one receiving a silver medal. I was also a part of the world number one ranked men’s professional cycling team - Team CSC, during 2005 and 2006, and currently still work with many riders. Recently I have also helped athletes reach their goals in the Stockholm, Berlin and Milano marathon, as well as in the World championships of Powerman and Ironman in Lanzarote.
