Yoga La Source

…what a great Teacher Danijela is! She is such a gifted instructor, and she really cares about how (or even why not) you're doing your assanas. She explains the postures very well, and the all-important breathing rhythm, and provides alternatives if you can't do something. She watches and demonstrates and corrects, all in such a nice manner. Her heart is really into it. Other students feel the same as I do – she is brilliant. - E.S. 11-27-2017

My first contact with yoga was back to the late ´90s when I attended several classes in Belgrade, Serbia, looking for some “stretching” to complete my regular fitness practice. Yoga was too slow for me back then, and we did not really click until late 2000s.

Following my move to Luxembourg in 2009, I joined Denise's Ashtanga class. I got so inspired by the practice and the teacher that, over the following 8 years, I took part in numerous workshops and trainings (including La Source’s 300-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training, completed in 2016), mainly in Ashtanga, Vinyasa Krama and Yin Yoga.

I was introduced to Vinyasa Krama in Luxembourg where I had my first class at La Source in 2015. I fell in love with the practice and went on to study with Srivatsa Ramaswami in Europe and India, obtaining two Advanced Teacher Training certificates (200 hrs). He is, I believe, one of the most senior yet humble and inspiring teachers today.

Vinyasa Krama helped me tap into deeper levels of my personal practice. While still in love with Ashtanga and its captivating flow of breath with movement – Vinyasa Krama unlocked the various stages of each asana and improved my stillness.

Practicing yoga makes me happy and light. It clears my mind and frees the space for new ideas. I am grateful for the opportunity to share some of that lightness with you.
