Yoga La Source

One day, a question came to me from deep within: what’s life? Is it my job, my house, my relationships? What exists at the deepest level of the present moment?

I left to search for answers, to find that which lives within me.

In 2007, I arrived in India where I stayed for 2 years. I practiced Iyengar yoga for one year with two qualified teachers: Sharat and Usha (Omkarananda ashram, Rishikesh). I learned a lot about precision and alignment in the postures.

The physical practice did not bring the answers I was seeking. So, I stayed in different monasteries of Theravada Buddhism where I practiced vipassana meditation in silence for several months: sitting, walking and simply being present to movements, thoughts, sensations. I lived moments of simple joy and happiness, just to be there, totally.

I returned to France in 2009 where I came into contact with the tradition of Kashmir Shaivism. I was vibrating and still am vibrating with that tradition which is simply about being present to what is in the moment. No need to change one’s life, to create other conditions or another image. We already are what we are looking for. This tradition invites one to say yes to each moment that we are living, and spontaneously a feeling of peace and joy arises.

I follow the teachings of this tradition with Daniel Odier, Nathalie Delay, Eric Baret and André Riehl.

Since 2013, I followed several teacher trainings motivated by the wish to create an opportunity for each person to discover this inner joy and inner peace. I did a yoga teacher training in the Satyananda lineage (Yoga Saraswati center, France) and another in the Sivananda lineage (organized by La Source, Luxembourg). I also did a yoga teacher training for children in Brussels with Catherine Nozeret.

I’m happy to teach Sivananda yoga at La Source.

By relaxing, letting go, moving and breathing, the practice of yoga is an invitation to be present to the body, to the sensations and to the emotions. This presence extends into daily living and spontaneously brings peace and stability.
