Wednesday 18 june 18:45 - 19:45
Experience the joy of chanting sanskrit mantras to musical accompaniment followed by a guided meditation on the breath and/or mantra! The Bhakti yoga practice of kirtan not only opens our hearts and brings about a feeling of connection with all, it unties our emotional and mental knots facilitating a meditative experience where we can be one with our deepest, most peaceful Self.
Julien came to meditation before practicing yoga and has been participating in and leading kirtan during his time in Rishekesh and back home in Luxembourg.

Style: Kirtan
Originating from ancient Indian traditions, mantras are mystical powers encased in a sound structure. They carry vibrational power that calms the nervous system, shifts emotional states, and cultivates inner stillness. They are repeated to focus the mind, uplift energy, and connect with deeper states of awareness. Through call-and-response mantra chanting, Kirtan invites us to quiet the mind, ground in the present moment, and move beyond the ego. Kirtan creates a powerful sense of connection within ourselves, with each other, and with the Divine, the Universe, or Universal Consciousness —whatever name resonates most. Through practices like mantra, kirtan, prayer, and loving service, Bhakti Yoga offers a way to transcend the ego and experience liberation through devotion, trust, and the opening of the heart. Teacher: Julien Beladina
Julien has been on the yogic path for several years. Before knowing what yoga was, he started with meditation which is part of Raja yoga. He now dedicates his life to the practice and the sharing of this ancient, yet still very relevant, science and philosophy. His passion for music has found a home in Bhakti yoga — the yoga of devotion — and Kirtan, the practice of singing mantras in community. He has been honored to guide people in singing mantras in Rishikesh (the birth place of yoga in India), as well as around Europe. He now regularly facilitates workshops in Luxembourg that explore self-expression and inner connection through guided meditation, voice activation, and singing circles.
