Style: Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga vinyasa is a hatha yoga practice transmitted to Pattabhi Jois from the great yoga master Krishnamacharya. It is for students seeking an invigorating approach that purifies, stimulates and energizes. It consists of postures practiced in a fluid rhythm with a concentrated breath, steady gaze, and internal contractions to direct vital energy. Due to the dynamic nature of this practice, one feels completely energized and purified in each cell of the body and also in the mind. Go to the Ashtanga yoga page.

Teacher: Dalia Fernandes

Dalia Fernandes Dalia discovered Ashtanga Yoga through the classes of Denise Pesch and was immediately drawn to it. It is a practice that combines strength, flexibility and mindfulness in a perfectly balanced way. In 2014, she attended a Teacher Training with David Swenson and, later that same year, a full 5-week immersion with Linda Munro and Gérald Disse at Ashtanga Yoga Paris. "Practice and all is coming!" This famous quote by Pattabhi Jois is Dalia's constant encouragement to bring yoga to her life on and off the mat. Go to Dalia's page.
