Viniyoga class - Langhana Practice
Wednesday 28 may 10:45 - 12:00
Nadine Maes is giving four 75-minute Viniyoga classes over four consecutive Saturdays (May 24 - June 14) to introduce students to this practice that comes through the lineage of Krishnamacharya. All four classes include either dynamic or calming postures with an emphasis on a particular theme.

The second Saturday on May 31st, 10:45-12:00, Nadine will teach Langhana Practice which is great to do in the evening to relieve tension, prepare for meditation, before bed or simply when you are feeling restless. The culmination of this practice has a calming energetic effect helping the mind and body to experience a deeper stillness. It includes chanting, forward bends and lengthening the exhalation. It concludes with a deep relaxation and Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing).
One is welcome to participate in any or all of the classes, either using credits from canceled classes or paying 15 Euros per class. Please register via the GoogleDocs form. GoogleDocs will display a confirmation message. You will not receive a separate email from us confirming your reservation but will receive a reminder 24 hours before the class.
If you have indicated on the form that you wish to use a credit, we will deduct it manually within 24 hours after your registration since it's not a part of the normal credit system. If you have no credits and wish to pay 15 Euros, please make your payment here to guarantee your place:
No refund or credit will be allowed upon cancellation.
The other Saturdays are as follows:
May 24th, 10:45-12:00 Brahmana Practice
June 7th, 10:45-12:00 Pranayama Practice
June 14th, 10:45-12:00 Meditation on the Breath Practice
Style: Viniyoga
What characterises Viniyoga is the connection between the breath and the movement. This synchronization enables the practitioner to cultivate a long and deep breathing rhythm which has a calming effect on the mind and leads to peace and serenity in daily life. With the help of different techniques, the attention is continually directed to this connection, while keeping the sequence of movements easy. As a consequence, everyone can practice Viniyoga independent of age, physical condition, or the time dedicated to the practice. Go to the Viniyoga page.
